Vintage Orpheum Acoustic Resonator Guitar

Id like to get this into the hands of someone who can tighten it up before it gets to far. Plays like a dream. Neck has some separating but effects nothing and tunes to 4/40 with no issues. It does not appear that the neck is loose or moving.  (see pic). Also, sounds like it has a mild distorted sound when you play certain notes. Cant figure it out. I just dont know and havent figured it out. It has a few minor dings here and there but not much to be concerned with and the guitar is pretty incredible. The action is beyond perfect. The bridge adjust so you can raise or lower it to your liking. The case is not original but fits like a glove. I bought the guitar used and the owner could tell me nothing about its history. I may have kept it if the neck was a bit wider. Ive been using it in Open G tuning for my Zep, Stones and practice some slide guitar technics..... This is my first resonator ever so I really dont know much about them. The action is so close to the frets right now that a slide would not really work unless you raise the action.
