National's Collegian faithfully recreates the look, tone, and feel of the originals from the late 1930s with remarkable accuracy. Featuring solid wood construction and a new aged ivory finish, this resophonic sets itself apart in both playability and aesthetics. Its thin overall body shape (3" at the lower bout), thin-gauge steel, and light weight make it one of the easiest resonators to simply pick up and play. Other appointments, such as a nickel-plated brass tailpiece, aged white tuners, and a tobacco-burst neck drive home the guitar's warm-palette vintage look. The Collegian also features a 9.5” Hand Spun cone for unmatched resonance and the best possible note projection.
