The vital feature of the G9240 Alligator Round Neck Resonator resonator is the Gretsch "Ampli-Sonic diaphragm (resonator cone). Hand-spun in Eastern Europe from nearly 99-percent pure aluminum, the Ampli-Sonic diaphragm yields an impressive quality and volume of tone.
This G9240 features a beautifully-bound Mahogany body with traditional-style F holes. The Mahogany neck with a Medium V shape is paired with a Padauk fretboard with aged white binding, 19 medium jumbo frets and Abalone dot inlays.
The bridge is biscuit made of hard Maple with an Ebony/Maple saddle.
Additional appointments include 1930's Gretsch 3 x 3 headstock, bone nut, Grover Sta-Tite die cast tuners, weathered poinsettia cone cover, trapeze tailpiece, and 2 Color Sunburst finish.
