You are looking at an interesting American Flyer COMPLETE set from 1957-58 that books say was sold through an unknown retailer. As you can see, the stamp shows this set was shipped to Ohio Cycle in Cleveland, Ohio.  This one has an original set box that has been verified through Tufts book as being for this 20123. The 20123 is interesting in that it came in a series of different boxes. The "pizza box" red and white is the most common. However, there are a few other styles of boxes such as this one that housed other versions of that same set number, sent to different retailers. I believe the items in this set came in a box that had compartments rather than the individual boxes. We added the individual reproduction boxes.
It is a neat set featuring a classic 307 Reading steam engine and nice freight cars.
This is ALOT of vintage train for the money, and an item you will be proud of. Or perhaps you have an American Flyer collector.

THE 307 Reading Atlantic 4-4-2 Steam Engine and Tender
CLEAN.
The
4-4
-2 steam engine and tender have been serviced and tested, and it does run. Good numbers and lettering.

All of the cars below came in compartments in this box--they did not have original boxes, so we added the reproduction ones for you. All cars are complete. All are KNUCKLE COUPLER.
THE 805 Pennsylvania Gondola
Looks C6+ with all steps.  Good printing and color. Has a small lip chip on top edge.
THE 925 Gulf Tank Car
Die cast frame version. Looks C6 due to some playwear.  A few scratches. Decals look a little aged, but good.  Good printing and color.
THE 806 American Flyer Lines CABOOSE
The car
is C6 with  a few scratches and slight fade to lettering.
747 OVER AND UNDER CARDBOARD TRESTLE SET
In original box. Piecesa are mostly unused, but do shpow some handling wear.

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
