Description

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good. The front lighting does not work on either engine; however the rear lights work. The powered engine runs very jerky/rough and the e-unit sticks. There is a broken truck and loose wheel-sets from the 924 CRP car. There are missing trim pieces from a few freight cars, and there are light nicks and scratches on each item. Additionally, the black paint is starting to flake off of the non-powered unit, and there are minor spots of surface rust on the axles of a few cars. Here is an American Flyer 5655RH Vintage S New Sunshine Special Diesel Freight Set: 377/378. This set includes a powered and non-powered unit, a 920 Southern freight car, a 921 Everywhere West gondola with a coal load, a 924 CRP covered gondola, a 926 tank car, a 989 North-western boxcar, and a 977 American Flyer lines caboose. The powered unit features a motor, die-cast metal trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels. The non-powered unit and other freight cars feature die-cast metal trucks, operating knuckle couplers, plastic or metal wheels, and metal axles. Please see my pictures for additional features.
